Many times, we are asked how much is it going to cost to operate my pump, or how much does it cost in comparison to using city water. We typically tell people that they should expect to pay several dollars to five dollars for a thousand gallons of water with the city. On the other hand, with a pump they can expect to pay about ten to fifteen cents per thousand gallons of water that is pumped from the ground. You also will not be paying the sewage bill that is attached to the water being taken away from the property. So, it is a big savings on your utility bill.
